Child and the environment organization
We are a young, dynamically developing organization summoned in order to bring help and improve health of all little big people - our children.
Although our Organization consists mostly of physicians and people affiliated with healthcare our goals reach much further beyond the treatment of diagnosed diseases.
Our mission is to bring smile to children’s faces and make it stay there all the time
To fulfill our mission we direct a lot of our attention and effort towards wide prophylaxis, protection of the environment which in long term greatly influences our lives. We strive to develop pro-ecological consciousness of the young generation - that is why we engage ourselves in the various educational projects for children and teenagers.
Child and the Environment Organization was registered on 29th of December 2005 in Poland.
Goals:
1. protecting children’s health - including humanitarian and charity actions
2. protecting the environment, with focus on regions having direct influence on the health of young generation
3. developing pro-ecological consciousness in children and teenagers
4. promoting latest advances in medicine for improving quality of children’s life
Organization fulfills its goals by:
1. organizing conferences, conventions and scientific workshops
2. providing specialistic medical training
3. cooperating with Scientific Communities and institutions
4. supporting protection of the environment and/or protection of the children’s health
5. equipping cooperating bodies with goods and materials needed to achieve above mentioned goals
Experience
Succesful execution of any project requires assembilng a group of the right people. Our team is composed of carefully selcted people. A perfect blend of skills and expertise is needed, areas of our experience include:
A) travel experience
Almost all of our members have traveled extensively. Frequent visits to Asia and South America acount for the first hand experiences of the actual conditions there. Travel experience is also invaluable when it comes to dealing with any kind of emergencies.
B) medical experience
Majority of our members are comitted physicians. Years of medical stuides ensure proper training and open-minded attitude. Most of us had a privillage of doing medical practice abroad thus being exposed to various medical environments and treatment approches
C) NGO work experience
Expereience in carrying out different projects comes from practice. Years of active work with renowned NGO’s (non government organization) provided this qualification. We have worked with IFMSA - International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations, Sensu Stricto, Child and the Environment, The Youth Programme, UNESCO - Agenda 21
D) multilinguality
We are able to fluently communicate in English, German, Spanish and thanks to our Nepalese member Nepali as well. Basic comunication in Chinese and Tibetan.
E) efficient visual communication
Proper way of communicating ideas is as crucial as their invention that is why we have an expert in graphic arts on board.
F) deep understanding of the problem
Open - minded attitude forged by years of studying medicine, patience and endurance crafted by thousands of km traveled through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, China, India and Nepal, first hand experieces combined with the required knowledge of economy allows for a deep insight into the problem.
